PDP Warns INEC: 'No Excuses In 2027 Election; If POS Machines Hardly Fail, BVAS Should Not'
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a strong warning to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), insisting that Nigerians will not accept any excuses for failure in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a recent press briefing, the PDP stressed that if Point of Sale (POS) machines rarely experience technical failures in daily transactions, then the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) should not malfunction during elections.
The party emphasized the importance of credible, transparent, and technologically efficient elections, urging INEC to ensure that all electoral tools function without hitches.
PDP leaders further reminded INEC that the credibility of the 2027 polls will determine the confidence of Nigerians in the democratic process, warning that the commission must deliver without excuses.
